Born and raised in Italy Leon’s obsession with house music started at a young age after discovering the music of Danny Tenaglia, Todd Terry & Laurent Garnier, something he still regards as a major influence on his sound to this day. Djing in Italy from a young age would inevitably lead to production for someone of Leon’s ability. At the age of 23 he took his first steps in the production world. However, rather than rush things he knew he needed to hone his talents. 3 years of hard work later and he is starting to bear the fruits of this work, and starting to show the world that he means business!

Talent, unwavering dedication and a hunger for new creative achievement have brought Jon Rundell long-term success. His DJ sets are fluid and fast-paced; he reads a room, and allows himself to go with his own mood and what feels right. Nevertheless, whether it’s uncompromising techno or the deeper end of house, there will always be that signature groove.
Rundell doesn’t follow trends, adhering to his own beliefs and interests both on and off the dancefloor. As a prominent spokesperson, from publicly voicing his opinions and showing his support for Fabric after their recent temporary closure, to various panel appearances at Amsterdam Dance Event and Brighton Music Conference, Rundell speaks his mind.
2018 has seen him truly breaking out on his own, focussing on his ETCH label, releasing his tracks via streaming on Soundcloud to democratise music sharing and accessibility, a topic which led to him speaking at IMS this year on the important role streaming plays. Gig wise, he’s been at Timewarp, Awakenings, Creamfields.
From the depths of the Brazilian electronic music scene – specifically São Paulo – emerges a frank and authentic artist in Victor Ruiz.
They say that his techno sound has finally found it’s more seductive side. “From Brazil with love” read the title of that interview where he caught the attention with his qualities always supporting super fresh sounds, with fewer grooves. From then on he has been compared to artists like Maceo Plex. Over time Victor Ruiz has grown, not only his production skills but also in his sets, a breath of fresh air to the listener.
When he first stepped into a recording studio his first steps were to reinterpret his roots in a more contemporary way. A futuristic tone but at the same time racial, exciting and danceable. In other words, his sound goes straight to your heart, your head and your feet (We need all of them to dance, right?). Thanks to these components over the years he’s been winning over huge swarms of followers.
Ilija Rudović a.k.a. Rudhaman has been living music professionally for more than ten years, developing throughout that time an original sound and authentic style of performance. Although he is not limited to a specific genre, he mainly propagates House music, which has been his base and a great love. He is known for his honest and dynamic performances, which are liberated of prejudice and marked by a strong connection with the audience. It is an imperative for him to transfer to the crowd the love he feels towards the music. He feels the audience, observes their reactions, and through his thoughtful selection of music, he skillfully transmits emotions.
His sets are marked by a wide spectrum of musical influences, and since he is a great enthusiast of the electronic music, they are based on different genres, which enabled him to develop a recognizable expression. Very often, he takes risks with unexpected combinations, but his main goal is always to provide a unique experience, precisely with this original synthesis of sounds and melodies.
Rudhaman is gradually shifting his focus to the music production. Since he has gained a formal knowledge in that field, as a participant of the Electronic Music Production course, at the SAE Institute in Belgrade, he wants to realize his musical potential in this field as well.
He has performed in numerous Belgrade and Novi Sad clubs, and he also had the opportunity to share the stage with some of the recognized names of the electronic scene, both domestic and foreign. The list of festivals, where he has participated, include worldly respected Exit festival, as well as the Sea Dance festival. If there’s one thing Vinicius Honorio doesn’t do, it’s things in half measures. Hailing from the buzzing Brazilian metropolis of Rio de Janeiro, few artists are better versed in what it takes to succeed than Honorio. From DJing at school parties in 1998, to spending every last bit of spare change in record stores, to working in clubs at prestigious South American venues, it seems he was always destined to be a DJ.
For the best part of two decades and counting, he has been DJing and producing music under various guises with an incredible rate of international success. Despite having a long and distinguished history as Drum & Bass DJ and producer BTK, releasing multiple albums and singles across a host of esteemed labels, touring the globe regularly as well as playing major festivals, he would always get drawn back to his long-lasting love affair with techno. Letting his heart take the lead, he started making serious in-roads in the studio and gradually honed his sound.
In 2017, his dream of releasing music on Adam Beyer’s Drumcode became a reality. After sending over demos, some back and forth over Skype followed and Beyer decided to sign four tracks. It shortly was followed by another release on Drumcode in September, as part of their A-Sides compilation with his track ‘Diamond Dust’. This success has driven the Brazilian to follow some of his own personal passions for 2018, launching his very first label in March called Liberta, with his own EP ‘Dying Of The Light’ to kick things off.
It seems there are no signs of slowing down for Honorio as he continues to push forward with work in the studio and on the road.
Lonely C is the brainchild of Charles Levine (also one half of Soul Clap) an emotive psycho-naught who came of age during the 90’s rave days and is currently splitting a timeshare on planet Earth.
With 20 years of DJ experience, he is most at home in the DJ booth, but that has not stopped him from taking it to the stage to sing, play keys/synths and beyond. From House music to electro, disco, funk, soul, R&B and dub, musical eclecticism is his key to moving bodies and shaping minds.
Lonely C is typically associated for his work as one half of the DJ/Production duo Soul Clap who spent the past decade touring the world (collaborating with legends such as George Clinton (Parliament-Funkadelic), Nona Hendryx, Louie Vega and Midnight Magic to name a few) and are founding members of the Brooklyn based musical collective Crew Love; however Lonely C is Charles’ latest solo endeavour and with a recently finished full-length album titled “Lonely C – Charles & Tribulations” 2018 is looking to be a very exciting year for new growth.
Sydney Blu has established herself as one of the top electronic producers and DJs.
With an unbridled passion for live performance, music production, and artistic creativity, Sydney has risen herself to the pinnacle of the electronic music industry. Sydney’s success is largely attributed to the relentless touring schedule which she’s upheld over the years with performances in Europe, Brazil, Colombia, Asia, Mexico, Tunisia, Pakistan, and Egypt. Reaching even further, Sydney also hosts 40 radio syndications worldwide, where she connects with audiences through her live mixes and curation.
Brooklyn based duo Espinal + Nova drop their debut 'Be with You' EP on Soup NYC: two deep cut originals with a remix from Sydney Blu. Sydney Blu transforms ‘Be With You’ into a hypnotic tech house banger in her version, with a huge breakdown and satisfying payoff, while completing the package is another original in the form of ‘Canto’, a darkly menacing cut with a twisted vocal to spin out even the hardiest of dancefloor warriors.
Kreature might look fresh-faced, but as his name suggests, he's an animal of the night; an otherworldly being possessed with finding the perfect beat and crafting the perfect groove to make any crowd erupt. What started in a teenage bedroom as a worrying obsession with anything from jungle to garage to disco soon turned into a full-blown career: by the age of just 18, Ashley Burgoyne’s misspent youth holed away in his cave learning the intricacies of rhythm, melody and musical emotion paid off and he was already touring South Africa, Australia and Europe.
Next to Kreature’s ongoing love of DJing comes a desire to produce ever fresher and ever more arresting music. He grew up and lives in Manchester but always has one foot always firmly in Leeds’ thriving underground, and that has helped form his own distinct musical identity. Though drum lead and sure to make you dance, his style is also speckled with the sort of deft little details that make a more lasting impact.
All this means Kreature is continually celebrated by his peers for his high production values and the genuinely engaging nature of his tunes on labels like WOW Records, ViVA and Resonance. His first record only came in 2012—and immediately climbed to the Number 2 spot of the Beatport chart—and now he continues to get constant support from big hitters like Marco Carola, Matthias Tanzmann and Jamie Jones.
2018 is already proving to be a vintage one for Kreature. His Wacomin EP on Underground Audio showed musical maturity across three originals with warm, propulsive drums, a great sense of colour and plenty of fresh percussion and vocal deployment. Kreature has already risen and fully arrived on the global scene, armed with a devastating sound and dance floor know-how that is impossible to fake.
